Marina Pula

On arriving at the ACI Marina Pula in the afternoon we will settle you into your cabin, conduct safety briefings and shop for the following week. That evening is your choice, to either have dinner together with the crew in Pula or to make your own arrangements. We will sleep in the marina and then head out the following morning.

FRAŠKER

We’ll sail at a leisurely pace until we get to a protected bay where we can snorkel in crystal clear water with sea life and coral. We’ll have lunch at anchor and then onto Unije Island.

Unije

Unije is the largest of the islands surrounding Lošinj and has a rich history. We’re able to walk along olive groves, reaching the highest point called Kalk (132m). Mooring in the village of Maračol we can go for dinner in one of the restaurants and buy some breakfast in the patisserie.

Susak

Susak is a quiet island with no roads and only one village. It’s famous for its sandy beaches and stillness.

Mali Lošinj

Mali Lošinj is a pretty town on the coast and after mooring we can rent bikes or scooters to explore the island or visit the Museum of Apoxyomenos.

Rab

Rab, located just off the northern Croatian coast near the islands of Krk and Pag, has a very rich history and is known today as the ‘Happy Island’.

Cres

Cres is a paradise for loners, hikers, and those who like secluded beaches.

PUNTA KRIŽA

Punta Križa is a place where the intersecting village roads lead to numerous shepherds’ lodges. The dense woods provide shelter for a number of wild animals, such as fallow deer, pheasants, rabbits and wild ducks.

This is a favourite bathing and anchoring place for sailors. The beautiful bays with their rocks and sandy bottoms are suitable for anchoring. The bays are protected from the sirocco and partly from the bura wind

Ilovik

The harbour of Ilovik is likely one of the more beautiful and secure harbours in the Adriatic. Pržine is a sandy beach located on the island and worth the walk and possibly a picnic.

ORUDA ISLANDS

Palacol and Oruda are two small uninhabited islands with sandy beaches. A relaxing spot to go snorkelling, read a book and have lunch.

UVALA PORTIĆ

A bay for swimming and a final enjoyment of our sailing week before returning to Pula.

Our Route

The islands to the south east of Pula give us the right balance of sailing, relaxing and enjoying swimming in secluded bays, sitting in the cockpit as the sun goes down and enjoying a book, a conversation or a cocktail. And then arriving in towns like Mali Losinj where we can have dinner, rent scooters or go to the Museum of Apoxyomenos.

The island of Lošinj is favoured by yacht crews and tourists looking for picture-perfect towns and the atmosphere of a seaside resort. Then onto Cres with its  mountainous landscape, with steep slopes whipped by the wind and flocks of sheep grazing. Onto Rab, located just off the northern Croatian coast near the islands of Krk and Pag, has a very rich history and is known today as the ‘Happy Island’.

After entering Lošinj, the rocky desert suddenly turns into a green oasis with lush palm trees and fragrant, colourful flowers. Cres is a paradise for loners, hikers, and those who like secluded beaches.

It is covered with pine forests and has beautiful sandy beaches, and is well known for its mild climate which differs from the mainland.
